Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LCI) has announced the winners of its annual “Lithuanian Exporter of the Year” awards for the 25th time. Based on 2025 results, a total of 12 companies were recognised across three business categories.
AB Kauno Grūdai was among the winners in the large companies category.
This recognition matters not only to the organisation itself—it is also a reminder that export is one of the areas where business resilience and the ability to grow even in challenging circumstances are most clearly demonstrated.
LCI President Vidmantas Janulevičius emphasises that uncertainty is becoming the “new normal”, and that competitive advantage is built by companies that consistently invest in technology, productivity, and energy efficiency.
“Lithuanian Exporter of the Year” winners are assessed based on export volumes, investment levels, labour productivity, the implementation of international quality, management and environmental standards, as well as the adoption of new technologies.
For Kauno Grūdai, this award confirms the team’s work and focused decisions; for consumers, it is another clear signal of reliability—behind the product stands an organisation capable of ensuring stability, quality, and competitiveness in international markets.
The competition aims to highlight Lithuanian companies’ achievements and encourage exports—directly contributing to national economic growth, regional jobs, and Lithuania’s long-term competitiveness
